A read on whether the tender is winnable by you. Compliance memo + go/no-go, delivered within a week.

Best for: First-time prospects, late-discovery RFPs, anyone unsure whether to bid.

Includes

  • Full RFP read, cover to cover
  • Compliance gap analysis vs your existing documents
  • Disqualification-risk flagging (CIDB, BBBEE, locality)
  • Pricing-feasibility commentary
  • 1-2 page go/no-go memo with rationale
  • If we say no-go, our tender-search software surfaces better-fit alternatives

Build

R12 000 – R210 000

Full bid pack from your documents — written, brand-tailored, printed, and couriered to your door ready for the tender box. Delivered within two weeks.

Best for: You've decided to bid and need the pack assembled to deadline.

  • Everything in Audit
  • Cover letter, methodology, scope-of-work narrative
  • Pricing schedule built from your rates
  • References / past-experience schedule
  • Completed SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 forms
  • PDF tailored to your brand colours, fonts, and design language — not a generic Word template
  • Submission assembled with cover, dividers, pagination, ORIGINAL and COPY stamps
  • Printed and bound: one ORIGINAL + one COPY, branded covers, divider tabs
  • USB with all source files (PDF, manifest) — the third piece most tender boxes require
  • All three pieces packaged in a courier-ready padded envelope, addressed to the tender box

  • Signing as the bidder (you sign every wet-ink page)

Strategic

R28 000 – R500 000+

ex VAT, scaled by contract size

Build, plus adversarial review, pricing model, and post-submission Q&A. The strongest case we can make for any tender worth winning. Delivered within three weeks.

Best for: Any tender you actually want to win — and most clients do.

Includes

  • Everything in Build
  • Adversarial review — Risk-Max vs Score-Max stress test of your own bid
  • Pricing model: cost build-up, contingency, BBBEE-uplift sensitivity scenarios
  • Programme / Gantt construction (24-36 month horizons)
  • Clarification responses during evaluation period (typically 2-6 weeks post-close)
  • Direct line to us for the duration of the engagement

Doesn't include

  • Award outcome guarantees
  • Panel scoring influence (we have none)

The process

Five phases per engagement

Phase 1 is a free 30-min call. You only pay from Phase 2 onward, and only if you've signed a Statement of Work.

Discovery call

Tell us about the tender, your standing pack, and what's coming up next. We tell you which tier fits, with a fee range. Honest no's are common — we won't take fees for tenders you can't win.

Within 1 week

Conflict check & intake

We check whether any existing client is bidding on the same RFP (FIFO rule applies). If clear, you fill an intake form and we send the SOW + DPA + NDA.

Same day as signature

Engagement kickoff

Half the fee is invoiced. We set up your per-client folder, take in your standing-pack documents, and run a compliance audit. Anything missing or expired is flagged before any bid work begins.

1–3 weeks depending on tier

Per-tender flow

We write your methodology, pricing schedule, and references. We assemble everything — cover, dividers, pagination, ORIGINAL/COPY stamps — into a brand-tailored submission pack. From Build tier upward, we print, bind, USB, and courier the sealed pack to your door, ready for the tender box. Strategic tier adds adversarial review, a pricing-model sensitivity analysis, and clarification responses during the panel evaluation period.

At submission

Engagement close

Final invoice on delivery. POPIA-mandated data deletion within 30 days of engagement end. We ask permission to track your win/loss outcome so we can refine our software — your data stays yours.

The questions we hear most

If your question isn't here, the discovery call answers it in five minutes. Book one.

Do you sign as the bidder?
No. You sign every wet-ink page yourself. We're consultants, not co-bidders. This is the line that protects both of us under the B-BBEE Act fronting provisions.
Do you charge a percentage of the contract?
No. Flat fees only. We don't have a financial incentive in your award outcome — by design.
What if I lose the tender?
We deliver the same work whether you win or lose. Our fee is fixed at engagement. Win or regret letter, the fee is the fee.
What's the difference between Audit and Build?
Audit is a read of the RFP and a go/no-go memo; we don't write any bid content. Build is the full bid pack from your existing documents.
How fast can you turn around?
Audit within one week. Build within two weeks. Strategic within three weeks. Add a week to first-engagement timelines while we set up your standing pack.

Will you handle BBBEE / CIDB / SARS filings?
No. Those are statutory services that belong to specialised firms. We refer you.
Do you keep my documents after the engagement?
No. POPIA-mandated deletion within 30 days of engagement end. You get a deletion confirmation in writing.
Can you guarantee compliance?
We verify that the documents we prepare address each stated compliance requirement in the RFP. We cannot guarantee how a panel scores or rules on any submission — no serious consultant can.
What if my CIDB grade is too low for the tender?
We tell you in the Audit. Don't bid. We won't take fees for guaranteed-fail bids.
Do you work outside KZN?
Year 1, mostly KZN landscapers and conservation contractors. We can take other-province engagements but our discovery call surfaces a fit check first.
